Designed to assist men with co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse and mental illness, New Directions is an intensive treatment program for men offering an alternative to residential treatment and a more intensive level of care than traditional outpatient programs.
Participants typically attend the program for a period of ve months with the level of care decreasing as progress is made. Advancement in the program is based on individual e ort and achievement of goals.
The program offers four phases: Motivational Track, Action Track, Maintenance Track, and A ercare, with each phase geared toward building upon previously acquired skills and development of additional competencies.
Our services offer a multidimensional approach to treatment, addressing a variety of client issues on an individualized basis. We utilize a treatment team that consists of clinicians, peer support specialists, case managers, and community support associates (CSAs) who meet on a weekly basis to discuss our clients’ individual needs. Each client is responsible for his own recovery, but is also part of a recovering community. Key goals of the program are to achieve abstinence, foster behavioral changes, facilitate active participation in community-based support systems, identify & address psychosocial problems, develop a positive support network, and improve problem-solving skills & coping strategies.
We always love to hear from our customers. Feel free to drop in or contact us during our business hours.
