Supports for Community Living
KRCC provides a broad array of programs to meet the needs of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Our Services
Provides 24-hour supervision and training in activities such as laundry, routine household care, self- care, shopping, money management, and socialization and leisure activities. No more than three individuals receiving waiver services can live in any single residential setting.
The SCL waiver program was developed for Kentucky citizens as an alternative to institutionalization. The focus of SCL is to allow a person to remain in or return to the community. Persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities who meet the requirements for residence in an Intermediate Care Facility for persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and who meet other Medicaid requirements, are eligible for this program.
