East KY House of Hope provides meals and a safe place to sleep at night, on a temporary basis, to people who are experiencing homelessness. During their stay, each client of East KY House of Hope will be able to access showers, personal hygiene items, laundry facilities and clothing.
Clients of East KY House of Hope will receive services needed to help them regain management of their lives, live independently in the community in safe and affordable housing and to address each client’s Individualized health needs.
For Those Seeking Shelter
Who's Eligible?
- Be able to function independently.
- Be over the age of 18, unaccompanied by children.
- Be cooperative and respectful of others, and follow all rules of the shelter.
- Participate in developing identifying needed primary care and behavioral health services, and programs and resources needed to live independently in the community.
Ways to Help
Homelessness is on the rise in our community. It is up to us not to stand by while others suffer. You can help us help the homeless by donating essential items that the homeless will need daily. By giving, you extend a helping hand.
If you can help, the homeless shelter could use these items:
- Hot Meals and/or non-perishable food items
- Clothing
- Personal hygiene items
- Other charitable donations
